TATU

25th August,8pm at Stadium Darul Aman..the last event held for the Golden Jubilee of Kedah's Sultan..TATU TENTERA DARAT...not the Miami Ink tattoo okay?This TATU means performance like marching,band and formation...by the army.

Was there at 8pm and by the time the event started with interesting stuff,it was already 9pm.Had to wait in that hot weather and was so sweaty.

It started off with the marching in accompanied by the band.Then as usual,speech to mark the starting of the event.After that....FIREWORKS which was so beautiful,the fire that lit up the words Jubli Emas 50 and Daulat Tuanku,people flying down from the roof of the stadium with fireworks on their shoes.

Then,there was a little about the history and they acted it out.The sound effects were good cause when there was suppose to be a real grenade,it really sounded so and made everyone's heart skipped a beat.After that,a little about the self defence the army has to know,a show by the police dogs,something about race cars,gymnastics and the people standing on bikes doing various things...

Too long for me to describe all..so i will just let you see some of the photos i took.

So sorry for not updating my blog..Since college started,it has been really busy.

Studies..I have a lot of catching up to do cause received text books two weeks late.So,can you imagine sitting for 3 subjects and some lecturers covering two or three chapters a week each.By the time i can catch up to what they have thought before,there is the new chapters to study..

Staying at my aunt's place....you know how comfortable life can be with people to talk to and tv to entertain..and even though i can't watch the normal channels but then there is the DVD player.

My week on the whole...i spend half the week in Penang and half back home in Alor Star.My week in Penang starts on Monday evening..Tuesday and Wednesday classes will be until late in the evening so at night i will be resting,will try to study but then only sometimes it can enter into my rusty head...Thursday classes finish at lunch time so after that i will study and in the evening i have badminton with sister and cousins until night.By the time i finish will only think of dinner and then to bed...Friday classes finish at lunch time also but after that it is rush hour until i am in the bus on the way home...Once back home...i am not sure how i spend my time,but it is always not enough to fit in a little time to study.That's why my books that i carry back have been reducing from SIX to THREE to ONE.

That's basically how i spend my whole week and now with Olmpics going on,it is even worse.

Hopefully i will be able to blog more frequently from now on...I will try to blog about....food in Penang cause that is is how i spend most of my free time.
