Audit

The day before exam and on the day of exam..FIRST TIME..i couldn't study. It was torturing but also relaxing in a way cos i am not stressed and nervous. But,i felt like my head was empty when i went for exam. The feeling is terrible.

The exam..hm..not easy and i won't say it is tough.Just....i don't know how to describe. But i know i wrote until my fingers were sweating and painful. When i came out of the room, all i can remember is i took the exam, but can't recall what i wrote. So blur..

Anyhow,i am glad that it is over.Hoping that i pass so it is over for good.Got to prepare for the next paper.

Can't wait for after the 6.15pm on the 15th =)

Random thoughts

These are some random thoughts about what i am feeling now and also what i learnt from my 'talk, listen, share' session.

Should i rewind the time or should i fast forward?
I just don't like being in this situation now.

__________

I enjoy when i have the privacy to talk things out.
__________

I am also not sure whether you should understand or i should understand.
__________

I just want to be happy.
But why is there always something that has to ruin it?
__________

Don't care what you are going to do.
I am not going to be bothered.
I won't be affected.

I am going to stay focused.
__________

Learn things how you are born to learn them.
__________

THAT is what differentiates the good and the okay ones.

What i feel will be a memory when i am older..but what i learnt will be remembered so that i can at least be a slightly better person.RIGHT? =)

First time after so long i did that...

Dedicated to you

I found this essay which i wrote when i was in Form 5 about someone who really made an impact in my life..and thought that today is a very good day to share it.

The first time i met him was when i was around 10 years old.
A family friend,Uncle John brought my siblings and me over to his house.I can still remember vividly that his house is painted pure white and there was a fish pond in front. We were there to watch Jurassic Park, the famous movie about dinosaurs chasing after people. But,unfortunately,he was in a hurry to go out so we didn't manage to watch.

A year of two later,Uncle John thought that i have some musical sense in me.He told mummy about it and they both agreed that i start taking up music lessons, piano lessons to be precise. He recommended that i take lessons from this teacher staying in the same 'taman'.He said that this teacher is a good teacher and very talented. That is how i ended up going for piano lessons.

* Think you all should know who i am talking about =) *

On my first day of lesson,i remember feeling so scared and nervous.I was my first time going for such lessons and i didn't know what to expect. With all those feelings,i didn't realise that the teacher was actually someone whom i have met, that short encounter a few years back.I may have forgotten but he didn't.

Lesson on the first day was okay with me being a little shy and quiet.
But it all changed after a few lessons (You should ask him).I was no longer the shy or quiet one.I could be myself and enjoy my every lesson. From then on,he was more than just my teacher,he was also my friend and a good one too.

During the few years of lessons,i had so much FUN.Of course there is the usual playing and theory..but there was also other things that we di
d.We would talk about 'interesting' happenings..feed the fishes in the pond..look at car magazines and asking him to buy this car and that car (I no longer want a limo now, more interested in the cute, little BEETLE)..playing PALM games, see who scores higher or who can play longer..shooting bb gun..admiring the bowling balls he has (I still like the apple one)..asking him to renovate his house to make it look like the ones in the magazine especially the pond..So many things that we did besides the usual lesson. And that is how we got to know each other better.

I remember sometimes going to lessons feeling moody and stressed up because of school and tuitions.I can't skip lesson just because i am not in the mood so i try to hide what i feel by being quiet and just do what i am told.He somehow realises it and tries to cheer me up by being extra talkative or funny. He knows that i like to talk so when he does that,i will eventually talk and feel better. And it never fails.

There are times when i complain and complain ab
out how my friends are and about how the people around me behave and treat me.He will just smile and say that it takes all kinds of people to make a world,a happier and more interesting one too. That saying made me look at things more differently and to not be so easily affected by the little things that people may do.

As you all know,to be good in piano, one has to practise the piano and do their theory.Well,i am not one of them.I always either don't practise
or practise not enough.I only study for my theory when the exams are coming.I was a bad and 'challenging' student. Most teachers would have kicked me out of their classes (That is what he always tell me),but he didn't.He not only didn't give up on me but he was always there, pushing me from behind, encouraging me and sometimes forcing me too.I know it was for my own good.He always tell me that 'Practise makes perfect'.And that is how i managed to pass all my exams.

My acquaintance with him has inspired me in many ways.He makes me want to be like him, being able to play the piano and express himself so well in songs (There was one Korean song which he played SO WELL that it made me practise and practise cos i wanted so badly to be able to play like him.I didn't tell him that though.HAHA!).He makes me want to be as determined as him, working hard to achieve the target no matter how high it is.He makes me want to be as successful as him,in career and also in life.

* For those who still do not know who i am talking about, then i shall describe him a little more *

He used to live in the same 'taman' as me but has now moved to KL.His hobby used to be playing golf when it is sunny and bowling when it's raining. He always compare himself with Garfield;fat, lazy and always hungry (I didn't and still don't see any similarity). He is generous, kind and always ready to lend a helping hand.He is sociable, friendly and..at times childish too,but it is this nature which makes him such a good teacher and companion. And like Uncle John said,he is a really nice teacher and very talented (Wish i can have 10% of his talent).

* If you still don't know who i am talking about then you should know after this... *

This is who he is,doing what he does best.

Thank you so much for what you have done.
You have inspired me in so many ways, directly and indirectly.
I am really blessed to have known you,
And happy that you have been a part of my life.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY,
UNCLE JIT SAN
...
Hope that all your wishes and dreams will come.

*I edited a little since i didn't get full marks for this essay. But it is still not good,a little choppy here and there.Sigh..*

Sorry

It is so horrible when i have to say 'NO' to going out when in deep down in my heart i really want to.That is one of the reasons why i hate exams especially the one month study period.

Dance

It has been awhile since i wrote about my dance class.Don't be mistaken that i didn't write means i skipped class,i didn't.I went but then was too busy to blog about it and nothing new.

Dance class now is getting tougher.Everything has to be MORE.The hips and the shoulders and the hands.Argh...so DIFFICULT!

Today,i was told by the sir to be not so stiff,to be softer. But when i was soft,he said i was like jelly. What he wants is...movement like rubber.Soft but has the elasticity.*Sigh...* Muscles oh muscles in my body, when can you be like rubber?

The next thing is to accentuate my movements, make them prominent and obvious.Sounds easy right? If he wants you to move to the left, move more and if he wants the hips out, then make them go out more.BUT...try doing all that on heels. It really limits the extend one can go.Only pros can do them and i am definitely not one.Solution..i think i have to get lower heels which means... *$$$$$*

But...no matter what,i will not give up.I already know what he means, just have to get my body to execute them.

Coffee!

I LIKE COFFEE..
Craze started recently.
But i can only have the black ones.
The rest makes me dizzy.
=(
Lots of it is bad for health,
But a little sometimes is okay right?

*Miss drinking coffee with my cousin and sister*

Random

Going to have my exams in less than a month and yet i am so RELAXED.Don't know what is wrong with me and where my focus and stress went.It is good in one way,but then it is also bad cos there is no motivation for me to study.

Mummy's birthday (Part 2)

This one is about how cheeky my granny was..She wanted to give an angpow to mummy and told me about it.Then, sis suggested that we give her a fake one first before the real one.

Various ideas for the fake one..only a few ringgit or a hand-made gift voucher or just a paper asking her to claim from granny or a fake cheque.

We ended up with a fake cheque.I drew and copied to the very exact (i try to). Then, put it into the angpow.Granny, walked to mummy and gave her with a serious face (she tried VERY HARD to) and then we insisted that mummy opens it.When she did, everyone burst into laughter. It didn't occur to her that granny will 'surprise' her too and the funniest part was...that the fake cheque was drawn on a piece of receipt *LOL!*

After that, granny came out of the room with another angpow and said..."Oh,sorry sorry..I took the wrong angpow for you...".Mummy was hesistant but in the end she did open it and knew that it was a real one.

Everyone had a good laugh and was in tears at the end of the surprise session.Laughter is the best medicine so i guess it is okay to have such surprises, right?

Mummy's birthday (Part 1)

This year...we (siblings and me) decided to be cheeky.Instead of always giving her the usual surprise, nice present wrapped in nice wrapping paper,we went for the other way round.

1am on the 8th of November, she was tired after spending a few hours watching the tv and was already in bed when we wanted to 'surpris
e' her.Siblings insisted on doing it though she was supposedly asleep.Went into her room with her 'present'.We wished her happy birthday and sis gave her the present.Without opening her eyes, she just hugged it and told us what a nice bolster. Then,we persuaded her to get up and open her present. That was when she realised that we wrapped her present in newspaper and there was a MJ picture with his 'autograph'.Everyone had a good laugh cos we gave reason that we ran out of wrapping paper. Then, she opened it.The next thing she noticed was the box we used was a recycled box, mooncake box.Another round of laughter from her and granny especially.Then..when she finally saw the present, everyone was practically in tears, from laughing too much.No one expected us (her cheeky children) to gather new items found at home and wrapped it up for her.In the box was....a box of drink, first aid kit, skipping rope, toothbrush, wet tissue and bath scrub sponge thing.

Bro's act came next.Because mummy was in tears,he said...'You are not happy with your present? We didn't have time to go and buy anything cos you were always at home and we had no time to sneak out to buy. That's why we got you this. You are not happy?Ok lo..i shall go and find another present for you."And he walked out of the room looking =(

Few minutes later,he came back with another present. Before mummy can even open it,she was laughing again (I shall use *HAHAHA!* as laugh, lazy to type so many times). The second present was wrapped in newspaper as well and with MJ's photo. She opened it and another mooncake box *HAHAHA!* The inside, was a lot of newspaper balls and at the bottom of the box..was an eyebrow pencil (we bought for her from KL,but then she gave hers to granny and asked us to get her another one). So,we sort of 'recycled' the present but in another way.

That was the end for that night...

Then, finally her real present was on the night after we came back from dinner. The third present was given and it was in..yap,you can guess it by now..newspaper and MJ..*HAHAHA!* and she was a little hesistant to open it cos she said we will give her rubbish again. But when she finally did open, she was glad that it was no longer rubbish (I think that is what she felt).

I hope that she likes all her presents and especially those surprises.Next year will be tougher...

*(Part 2 - Granny's surprise) and (Part 3 - The dinner) will be coming soon...

Happy day

Today is a good and happy day.

After a long day, everyone gathered around the TV (a.k.a. the idiot box but not to us) and enjoyed a few episodes of The Little Nyonya. There were tears, laughter and not forgetting discussion about it too during the few hours we spent. To some people, they may think that it is a waste of time but to us,it is a time for family to be together, enjoy each others company and forget about all the worries, problems and stress.

How i missed those time when we were all so into dramas.Everyday after coming back from school, everyone will rush to the tv to catch the drama. That will be one of our topic of discussion. You may think, why bother about the silly drama and spend the time discussing it,but then...indirectly,it brought us closer together as a family. And through watching and discussing,we all get to know how each of us think besides learning valuable lessons in life.Certain things are better to learn from watching then to let them happen to us,right?So..that's how I learnt some lessons in life.

Okay...besides the Nyonya gathering session,my siblings and I came up with a surprise for mummy. Was so glad that it went well and everyone had a good laugh.I will blog about it another time when i am free.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY,
MY DEAREST MUMMY.
YOU ARE THE BEST MUMMY EVER.
NO ONE WHO CAN REPLACE YOU IN MY HEART.
I LOVE YOU...
*MUACKS!!!*

And this is bro posing with the camera...

Papa's toy

Lately,I started to have a new interest..CAMERA.Don't know when is it but then i now wish to own my own camera, not the usual camera, but one with more functions to play with.

DSLR is what i dream of having. But as a student,i think it is a VERY EXPENSIVE toy. So,maybe i will consider something in between compact camera and DSLR.Any recommendations?

Of course, before buying something which will cost me a bomb,as a daughter,i need to get permission from my parents (i am used to it and also just to be sure that i spend my $$ wisely). When i was talking to papa about it,he told me that he used to own a SLR (during his time, there was no digital cameras yet).I haven't seen it so i thought he must have sold it.But then he told me that it was still around in my grandmother's house.

Just now,bro remembered about it (he has the interest too) and searched for it.I don't know if he asked mum or he found it by himself..but true enough it is still around.

These are what he found...

Because it has not been used for a LONG TIME (mum said papa got it before i was even born and didn't use it at all cos he didn't know how to),so most of the things are a little dusty and there is something that melted on the parts. So,we tried to clean that melted thing but we didn't manage to do a very good job.

We were thinking of bringing them to the shop and see what can be done with it cos most of the things look so new.I wonder if they are still working. If they are then...YIPPIE! New toys for us to use when we get a DSLR.

If any of you know anything about those parts (whether they can be cleaned or what they are for or are they good or not or whether they are worth cleaning),please leave comments for me ok?

PS: The camera is still around too..

Midnight

My first time eating the curry mee at the Pekan Cina stall at midnight!

Parents and siblings have gone there before,i am the only one who didn't.So,went tonight with everyone.

The place is not at all like a coffee shop or a cafe.It is just a hawker by the roadside with tables and chairs.Today was raining but luckily there was a shade where we could sit.

There is a variety of things to add to the curry mee.We added some stuff to ours,i don't remember what they were, only know that there was cuttlefish cos that's what i had in mine.

We only had to wait a few minutes before the mee arrived. There was the steam coming out of it.Spicy, hot curry mee in the cold weather..GREAT COMBO right? So,i enjoyed every bit of it.

So...anybody who wants a nice, hot curry mee at night, when all the shops are closed, you can try this place.

*Sorry for the horrible quality photos.Forgot to bring my camera so could only take with my hp*

Love Paradise

You're always on my mind

All day just all the time
You're everything to me

Brightest star to let me see
You touch me in my dreams
We kiss in every scene
I pray to be with you through rain and shiny days

I'll love you till I die
Deep as sea

Wide as sky

The beauty of our love paints rainbows

Everywhere we go

Need you all my life
You're my hope
You're my pride
In your arms I find my heaven
In your eyes my sea and sky

May life be our love paradise

Panda 1

Flying meatballs

Before i start writing anything else...i need to say this. The coffee from Nando's is super 'kau' i think.Drank that when i was having dinner and i ended up not having a good sleep until it was 8am (and i got to get up at 9.30am for class).

Ok..so the coffee-made-me-can't sleep night was on Sunday. On Monday, went to class as usual (after 2 weeks of not going).A lot of copying to do but i was okay.Time flew very fast so before i realised,it was time to go back.Dropped by at uncle's house and decided to go for dinner and movies with him.Dinner was at Gurney Drive. The food there is okay but a little pricy.

Then, the nice part.MOVIES!We watched the cloudy-something-flying-meatballs (always have problem remembering the name).Okay..it is called Cloudy with a chance of meatballs. And we chose the one in 3D.FUN FUN FUN!Imagine the most yummy food was dropping from the sky and you can choose what you want. That's incredible right? The part i LOVED the most was when it was snowing ICECREAM.Really wanted to be in the movie at that time.It will be heaven... (unfortunately,i was stuck to my seat with no icecream)

So..that's a little of what i did this week in Penang.I have only one more week before i am back in AS for a month (not holidays, but study month).I have mixed feelings about the exams now..a little looking forward to it and a little not.Anyhow, shall concentrate on preparing for them first.Better go do a little revision before going to lecture.

Dance class after a month

It has been a month since i went for my proper dance class...

I messaged the sir to ask if the class is on and it is.So,at 6.40pm,i left the house to go for the class. The people at the class was so surprised to see me and asked me where i have been.Well,i have been missing class not because i am lazy to attend but because i always end up having things to do on Thursday (grandma's birthday, dinner with relatives in SP,just back from the KL trip and once was because they canceled class). So,it is entirely my fault, right?

A month of not twisting and turning caused my waist, back and legs to ache so badly..before the class can even end.And the sir suddenly told me,to NOT move my upper part of my body, make it looks as though there is no effort put into it (natural) while i do all the twisting and turning. That was REALLY difficult but i did try and that's how i got all the body aches.

Almost the entire lesson was spent on that.Nearing the end, when i thought that that's it,the sir came to me and we danced the steps that i learnt before this.Halfway through the dance,he decided to change it..and i don't know what made him have that thought,he decided to teach me the intermediate steps.INTERMEDIATE?After i have not gone for class for A MONTH?My basics was so still so shaky...Learning the steps wasn't the hard part.It was executing them in the way he wanted it that was tough.And...i ended up getting scolded for not being able to do it =(

So,now...i think i have to start concentrating on this dance class and maybe take a break from the other one cos indirectly, without me realising,it is affecting my basics.

That's a little update on my dance class..Hopefully no more scolding next lesson cos he is scary when he is SO SERIOUS.Wish me luck..

Lazy

At the beginning of this semester..i SAID i will NOT study last minute anymore, right?

Well...what i said i will NOT do,i am doing it.I am so NOT PREPARED when i have around two months to exams, yet i don't have the mood to study. What is wrong with me?Where is that stress?Where is that push or motivation to study?Where did it go?And the bad thing is,the guilt i feel for not studying does not last long anymore.I will feel guiltyfor AWHILE.Once i am distracted,i FORGET about it and there i am,doing other things BESIDES studying.

How?What can i do to cure my laziness? =(

KL trip with sis and friend

My week started off with me being sick on Saturday. And it took me until Monday to recover as i could not eat.So was feeling dizzy.

On Monday night,Stevie came and stayed a night at my house. He was here to go KL with us (sis and me) the next day.I was so undecided whether to go or not as i was just recovering and feeling better. In the end,on Tuesday morning,i decided to pack a bag of medicine and go ahead with the trip.

Tuesday morning, had a quick breakfast and off to the airport.Papa sent us as mummy had to send bro to school. We arrived there quite early,so went and took some photos, bought some things before checking in.There was a lot of people traveling to KL that morning. The waiting area was crowded. The plane arrived on time so we could reach KL on the time we estimated also.On thing about Airasia that i like is..we can take photos with the plane (don't know if we are allowed to or not,but we did it anyway).

KL...KL...KL....Took the shuttle bus to KL Sentral and then had our breakfast at McD.I was feeling a little dizzy so ended up packing my meal.Then...it was the start of our shopping or rather window shopping and lots of walking and taking LRTs.

First stop..Berjaya Times Square. We were there quite early. So many shops were just opening. We did more of window shopping at this place cos everything looks as though we can get it from Penang. So didn't bother buying.Finished walking to whole mall in around 2 hours. That also was with lots of sitting at the bench (I did that the most as i was SO SLEEPY,couldn't sleep the night before and got to get up early).

Second stop..Pavillion.Met with my friend,FH and we decided to have lunch there.Couldn't decide where to eat as there was so many choices so we ended up at the food court which was also the same thing.I didn't order anything except bought a bottle of mineral water cos i still had my McD and i was still full. The rest did order some food and the portion is HUGE.I wonder how the people there can finish.Pavillion was nice and that was the first place we bought something.

Third and last stop for the day..Suria KLCC.We walked to the place..it was suppose to be a 15minutes walk but ended up talking longer.Either we were walking very slow or it was just more than a 15minutes walk.Anyhow,we got there...There were a lot of people at the garden and sitting near the fountain either taking photos or just relaxing. We had to take a break there..chose a nice spot and sat there. The warmth of the seat was a relaxation to the aching muscles according to sis.Stevie went shopping after a few minutes while FH,sis and me continued sitting there until the fountain was on.It was really nice to be able to sit, relax, enjoy the breeze, chat and watch people walking pass.

After that,it was meeting up with Stevie's uncle for dinner and then headed back to his house to rest for the night.Legs were aching so badly that night and of course,we had a good sleep.

Wednesday morning...His uncle gave him a car
to drive so we parked it at a LRT station and then took the LRT to MIdvalley.Got a little lost along the way, which was FUN.Haha! We had a map so before we know it,we were back on track.Midvalley..haven't been there since i came back from UKM.Because we didn't have breakfast so that was the first thing we did.Had burger at Carl's Jr.The burger is really huge (That was our breakfast + lunch + dinner),it was so filling and our mouth were aching for having to open that big to take a bite. Then,we split up and went on our own.Sis and me walked and walked and walked and finished going round the whole mall in an hour. There was another hour to kill so we decided to go round again looking for things to buy back home. Finally when it was almost time and we met Stevie,he suggested that we get perfume. And that's what we bought. There was a promotion so quite worth buying it.

The next place..the main reason we were there..The seminar at Menara Hap Seng. This one was purely based on the map and looking out for the building. We only know it based on the map and wikimapia.So..pure adventure to figure out which was to go.We didn't get lost and manage to find it reasonably easily.

After seminar...met up with FH at Petaling Street to go jalan-jalan as it was still early to go back and the next day was our last day.Walked and saw a lot of things but i don't know why i didn't feel the urge to buy anything.I was only feeling a little hungry so we had supper there.Food was as usual, big portion and it took us awhile to finish them.

It was quite late after we were done eating. The LRT we were suppose to take was closed so we took a taxi to where the car is and the headed back his uncle's house.

Last day in KL...Went to UKM to meet with my friends and also to show sis how it is like in a uni.Visited a few places which brought back memories of when i was there..the orientation, having to walk to my lectures, where i had my lunch, where i stayed. There were a few changes especially to my college. It didn't look as old as when i was there anymore.A coat of paint made a huge difference.I got to meet with my roommate and few other friends. Some were busy so didn't get to meet them.Well..planning to make another trip during their convo next year. So,will meet them that time then.

Kajang...SJ brought us to Kajang for lunch. The famous satay Kajang..I was so surprised to know that there are beef, mutton, fish and duck meat satay.I was feeling nervous about my flight so the satay tasted okay only.I would have enjoyed myself more if it wasn't my last day there. We ordered noodles too but sis and me couldn't eat that much so SJ did most of the eating.

FInally...KTM at Kajang,KL Sentral,LCCT and....back home to AS.

Stevie's uncle and his family: Thank you so much for letting us stay at your house for the two nights we were there. And also, thank for you for the wonderful dinner.

FH: Thank you for taking the trouble to come out and meet us,bring us around and listen to me complain the whole time we were walking =) Thanks for the supper.Waiting for you to plan your trip to Penang and AS so that i can belanja you.

SJ: Thanks for fetching us around and for bringing to us to Kajang. Finally we get to taste the famous satay.Sorry about the ticket...

Papa and mummy: Thank you for letting us go on this trip.It was really an experience and adventure and we really enjoyed ourselves.Um..we did pay attention during the seminar and learn something from there too.

Dinner + snooker

Yesterday, went out with Cikgu and bro for dinner at Georgetown Coffee House (AS mall).First time trying out the food there.Bro ordered the rice with rendang chicken (is that what it was called?either rendang chicken or rendang rice..forgot as there was an arguement on what it should be).According to bro,the chicken was really tender and soft but the gravy was a little sweet.Cikgu and me ordered the Penang char kuey teow.I think why it was names after the one in Penang is because there was 3 quite big prawns.Penang is known for that i think cos only in there,i find the prawns.Other places usually they are smaller or there is none. From the photo in the menu,it looks so spicy so i decided to get the normal one while Cikgu ordered more pedas. There was a difference in the colour but i am not sure if it was THAT spicy as it looks. So,for those pedas lovers..make sure you write on the remarks column..'double extra pedas'.Didn't try the coffee cos was not in the mood for it.Will try it the next time i go..

Then,it was to the cinema.Wanted to watch G-Force but then there was only the first row left.Decided not to torture our necks.

When we were parking the car,saw that AS mall has snooker. So,bro suggested we give that a try.None of us know how to play..don't even know how to place the balls.Well, there must always be a first time to everything right?So..there we were, the three of us,trying our hardest to hit the balls into the pocket (is that what you call it?).Bro was the first to hit it in,followed by Cikgu and FINALLY me.But,after getting used to playing,i managed to hit more but using the 'X' stick (the two of them were jealous and keeps making fun of me and my 'X' stick). Not sure who got the most balls into the pocket but it was surely fun.We were laughing nonstop especially when we were aiming so properly and ended up not hitting the ball at alll.I definitely enjoyed myself.Hope bro and Cikgu did too..

Then,it was back home...

1 Malaysia

'1 Malaysia'...is the hot topic in Malaysia right now.Everyone is talking about it and waiting to see the changes.

It is said that there will not be any differences among the races in Malaysia. That means,no more being seen as a Malay,Indian or Chinese. We are now,1 Malaysia. Therefore, there will not be a column requiring people to state their religion and race in forms. That is the main change from '1 Malaysia'.

Just a few days ago,i was on my way to Queensbay and saw this.

It is written 'Bumiputra release units'.. (if i am not mistaken)

I was wondering...how will '1 Malaysia' be implemented on matters like this and the compulsory percentage of Malays in a company?Because we are now one, will this still happen?

Guess i have to wait to find out...

Dinner by me

Forgot when it was..Mum wanted to prepare porridge for dinner and i don't like it.I only eat it plain with dishes or when i am not feeling well.

So..mum asked me to cook dinner since i complained.I was quite game into trying as it has been awhile since i tried cooking.I always tell the maid in Penang how to cook but never did it cos she doesn't let me.

Tadaa.....!Dinner is served...

Fried meat with egg, ginger and sesame oil.

Boiled vege with fried garlic.

Grilled fish with...i don't know what. This one mum helped with the seasoning. My job was to grill it.

How do they look?Okay?Pass for someone who has not prepared dinner before?Mum thinks it was quite okay and even asked to cook the next day =)

Kennyaik

Third salon i went in a row..

Kennyaik. It is located in front of ASRC or opposite Spring Leaf. Not much of a hassle getting a car park if it is before 5pm (because people will usually go to play badminton after working hours). From the outside, the salon looks okay, not over high-class.The inside is very simple. There are around 6 seats,2 places to wash your hair and NO waiting place.Yes..no sofas to sit while waiting. That is one of its cons.

There are 2 guys working, one is the director and another is the junior. So,if there are more than 2 people there, means you will have to wait at least 30 minutes before it is your turn.If you don't mind waiting, then you can go to this place.

The 2 guys...hm..let me try to describe them to you.The director..the first thing i noticed about him is his tattoos,he has them on his back and also his legs. So,with tattoos, obviously don't expect his hair to be the 'guai' looking type. His hair is short at the back while the top is long until he can tie into a ponytail.Even though the looks is quite intimidating,he is actually friendly and nice.He listens to what you want and cuts accordingly. He doesn't recommend his products or services except when you ask him to.He can give quite good ideas about how to cut your hair and he definitely has a lot of skills in cutting, uses the methods that i have not seen before. On the other hand, his junior..almost the same hairstyle as him but without the tattoos.I am not sure if he is that friendly cos didn't talk to him.

Finally..the price for the services. For a haircut under the director,it is RM39.I feel it is a little expensive but my friends who are back from KL thinks it is okay. They thinks that the price you pay for the skills he has is worth it.So,it is up to individual to decide whether it is or not.

I will rate this place 3 out of 5.It is because there is no waiting place and also because i feel the price is a little too high.

*I will let you know the business hours after i asked..Forgot to do that when i went.
