Manila Place

I actually went to this place the same week as Bali Hai.Can't remember what day it was.

The three (my sis,cousin and i) as usual,was out to do some shopping for another cousin sister at Gurney Plaza.Since we were there and our tummies were making a lot of noise,we decided to find a place to eat.A lot of the shops are closed due to renovation and this was the first shop we saw on our way out to look for food.

You know how tempting the food looks when you are hungry,right?That was what made us went into this place to try the food...The picture of the prawn spaghetti looked SO GOOD (aiya,forgot to take THAT photo)

So,in we went to try without knowing whether it was an expensive or cheap place.What we thought of was FOOD and FOOD..

And these are some shots of the place and food that we ordered (definitely the prawn spaghetti was one of them =D )..and also not forgetting the BILL..

Floating tree

This is a photo of a tree which caught my attention.To me it looks as though it is floating..What do you think?I wonder why did they do that...Any of you know?

My week back home

Wow..these few days have been nothing but SHOPPING..

I can't remember when i went shopping with sis for her wallet..but it is definitely this week..

Thursday...GIRL'S NIGHT OUT..but this time we had the boys also.We went for bowling first.It has been some time since i played.Before this,after a few bowls,my nails will sure chip off and it takes SO LONG for it to recover.So i decided to not play when they go bowling.But this time...i gave it a try cause..it looks so FUN to have so many people playing.And lucky me..my nails were obedient and didn't cause any problem..After playing two sets,everyone was SO HUNGRY,we ended up eating at the nearest place we can find which is WAH TUA GUAN.Fill,fill,fill our tummies and then it was SHOPPING.We shopped awhile only as everyone was already half dead from the bowling.

Friday,was our usual day for breakfast with family friend.Haven't done this is since i went to study in college.So we went to our USUAL PLACE which is a coffee shop opposite PMC.I miss the food there...the fried maggi mee and the hokkien mee...So fun to be able to feel like last time,when i was schooling.After breakfast,shopping at Lorenzo.Didn't get anything there,only considered getting..
* I am now learning dance again! So happy to be able to continue though it is a little rush cause it is after my dinner...

Saturday..Received sms from my 'bestest buddy' saying that she is back in AS.You can guess..
LONG TIME DIDN'T MEET + GIRLS = HOURS OF NONSTOP TALKING
And when that is not enough...HOURS OF SHOPPING too...We spent the night shopping at Pacific for shoes...Went back with one each.It could have been more if our pockets allowed.

Sunday...Woke up REALLY EARLY,9.15am..usually it is 10 something or 11..Best friend and i went back to Convent to visit the teachers with Secret Recipe cake for them.They were really nice and close to us that we can't stop showing our appreciation even after four years.Then..it was SHOPPING again but this time at City Plaza.My friend bought a lot of things while i only got myself a wallet.Wanted so much more things but as usual,the pocket wasn't deep enough.So,after that trip of shopping,i was so tired and having back aches,i thought that was the last of it..But before i knew it,after dinner,there i was at Pacific again,this time with mummy and sister.

So going back to Penang tomorrow is a good thing.Get back my USUAL self,not this SHOPAHOLIC... (though i enjoyed it a lot cause it has been some time since i last get myself something and feel like buying things =D )

Bazaar at stadium

Today,decided to visit the bazaar at Stadium with sister and family friend at 4.30pm..So,as you all can guess,it was SUPER HOT.Before we could even enter the bazaar,we were already sweating..Can imagine how we were like after it..

How is it like in a bazaar?

The place is filled with smoke.Before we even entered,from far we can see the smoke going out and up into the sky.

Then,there is the crowd.When we went,there wasn't that much of a crowd yet because it is still early.Most of the people are still at work and it is still long before break fast.

Next is the food available...Some of them i have not even tried before in my life.But then,i am not so adventurous.Maybe will try the next time.

There were drinks of different colours too...

It was really fun going to the bazaar (especially with a camera) So,if there is one near your place,give it a try.

Bali Hai in Penang

Yesterday,my cousin,sister and I decided to go and try a new place at Gurney.What made us do so?Thursday,we have badminton and last week we pass Gurney to send another cousin home.So,we saw this place so crowded at 9 something and it was not even a weekend yet.Then i asked if my cousin has tried eating there.Since her answer was no,and how i was telling her about taking photos of our makan-makan and blog about it...we decided to give it a try.

It is quite a nice place with car park (So if you are eating there,don't need to park along the roadside because it costs $$$..that was what i did before i discovered about it,but it was too late)

The food was NICE.We were so GREEDY..why do i say so?Can you imagine THREE GIRLS eating EIGHT dishes and each dish is made for THREE.We ordered...noodles,vegetables,bamboo like shell (we thought they were quite cheap but it turned out for each shell it was RM16),scallop,prawns,crab,lala and lobster..So,you can imagine how bloated we felt after dinner and also how much we had to pay for it.So..for seafood-lovers and those who are not afraid of high colestrol,it is worth giving it a try but have to make sure you bring enough $$$ or a credit card.

And THIS is what happened to my tummy after eating the EIGHT dishes..so who said i can't be fat? (So happen i took a photo and someone commented on my blog that i don't become fat..)

So,if you want to go there and eat...bring more people so that you can order and try more things,park at the car park provided and bring more $$$.... =)
