Today's adventure

Dance class today was AWESOME!!Love dancing so much =) Can't wait to improve especially now when i sort of have someone there to dance with. The sir is still better than who i have but not going to complain that much cos at least i have someone to practice with, right?

Anyway, after class, which was around 8.15pm,started the car and drove the usual route home. Before i can even get out of that taman, there was two fire engines and ambulance. The road out was blocked with cars and the kepo people. What hit me next was..."Mati!I only know one way OUT!"Made a turn back to where the dance was, called Papa.He is not sure of any way to go out from there too.Luckily i was being more observant today.Saw many cars using a road in front of me.Decided to follow them and...TADAA!!..I am home.

I realised that even though at night it might be scary to try new way,it seems easier. Why do i say so?Cos..during the day,we tend to get even more afraid when we see unfamiliar buildings. At night, there is nothing you can see clearly except for the roads.Without the eyes to send unnecessary information to our brain to scare us,we can actually focus on our instinct. This is what i feel, not sure if you all think that same way too.

Dance!

FINALLY..i can go for dance class.I have either been skipping or the classes have been canceled for so long. Can't wait to go and come back feeling sweaty, body aches but refreshed =)

Mixed feelings about what is happening.
Should i be happy or sad?
Moments of joy and suddenly a moment of sadness.

One can never satisfy everyone.
I tried this way and that way,but none is the right way.
Maybe i should just go with what will satisfy me.

I don't like going to sleep.
I don't like having nothing to do.
I don't like when my mind can wander.
DISTRACTIONS!!!

What is love?

"Love is a temporary madness. It erupts like an earthquake and then subsides. And when it subsides you have to make a decision. You have to work out whether your roots have become so entwined together that it is inconceivable that you should ever part. Because this is what love is. Love is not breathlessness, it is not excitement, it is not the promulgation of promises of eternal passion. That is just being "in love" which any of us can convince ourselves we are. Love itself is what is left over when being in love has burned away, and this is both an art and a fortunate accident. Your mother and I had it, we had roots that grew towards each other underground, and when all the pretty blossom had fallen from our branches we found that we were one tree and not two."

Results OUT!

Another round of exams DONE!

Couldn't believe it when i saw the word 'PASSED'.

Even though i passed, still do not think that ACCA is easy.

Passing this round means i am going to face a more challenging one next.

Time to start studying!!!

Go,go...GO!!!

Photos from CNY

These are some photos from CNY....

Lesson from 'The Pretty Lady'

This is taken from an email i received.Think it is something that most of us including me should learn to do.

The Pretty Lady
Once upon a time a big monk and a little monk were traveling together. They came to the bank of a river and found the bridge was damaged. They had to wade across the river. There was a pretty lady who was stuck at the damaged bridge and couldn't cross the river. The big monk offered to carry the pretty lady across the river on his back. The lady accepted. The little monk was shocked by the move of the big monk."How can big disciple brother carry a lady when we are supposed to avoid all intimacy with females," thought the little monk. But he kept quiet. The big monk carried the lady across the river and the small monk followed unhappily. When they crossed the river, the big monk let the lady down and they parted ways with her.All along the way for several miles, the little monk was very unhappy with the act of the big monk.He was making up all kinds of accusations about the big monk in his head. This got him madder and madder. But he still kept quiet. And the big monk had no inclination to explain his situation. Finally, at rest-point many hours later, the little monk could not stand it any further, he burst out angrily at the big monk."How can you claim yourself a devout monk, when you seize the first opportunity to touch a female, especially when she is very pretty. All your teachings to me make you a big hypocrite." The big monk looked surprised and said, "I had put down the pretty lady at the river bank many hours ago, how come you are still carrying her along?"

[This very old Chinese zen story reflects the thinking of many people today. We encounter many unpleasant things in our life, they irritate us and they make us angry. Sometimes, they cause us a lot of hurt, sometimes they cause us to be bitter or jealous. But like the little monk,we are not willing to let them go away.We keep on carrying the baggage of the "pretty lady" with us.We let them keep on coming back to hurt us, make us angry, make us bitter and cause us a lot of agony. Why?
Simply because we are not willing to put down or let go of the baggage of the "pretty lady".We should let go of the pretty lady immediately after crossing the river, immediately after the unpleasant event is over. This will immediately remove all our agonies. There is no need to be further hurt by the unpleasant event after it is over.It just that simple.]

CNY 2010

Chinese New Year this year was a little different but enjoyable and fun!

Many relatives came back so it was quite a big gathering on the first day.Practically all the rooms in the house was occupied, halls used for playing cards, two rooms for mahjong and the others for people to take a nap. There were approximately 40 people IN THE HOUSE.

Dinner on the first day used to be a big headache for grandma, aunts staying in the house and mummy cos they have to plan and prepare meals for that many people. But this year, they came out with an idea..each family bring a dish. That was a brilliant idea cos finally everyone get to enjoy together and it is not so tiring for those who had to prepare.Everyone said the dinner from any buffet one can get from hotel, the dishes prepared were everybody's specialty and also because we have a big family, there were many dishes to choose from.I wanted to try everything,so took a little of each and ended up with a mountain of food.I thought i was being greedy and took to much, but when i looked around...everyone's plate was the same too.

Then,i had photography sessions with my cousin.Didn't know he is so interested in camera too. So,we went out on the eve to Mengkuang Dam,took some photos during the first day of CNY and second day too..It was so much fun to be able to exchange knowledge and explore new things together. The only thing not fun is that he always wake me up when i am enjoying my sleep.

It is really fun this year especially spending time with family members. So much to share and talk about...Looking forward for more =)

*If i am hardworking then i will upload some of the photos i took, but most probably they will be in FB only*

Once bitten,twice shy?

After the first taste, one will be more aware and cautious before the second one.
